Mr. A K M Monirul Hoque has started his business career in 1982 by established a partnership vocational training center. He founded this institution when he was just 20 years old, while pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) Degree under University of Dhaka and after that He has completed Masters in Commerce Degree (M.COM) under University of Dhaka with a concentration Management.
In 1984, Mr. Hoque joined Nitol Motors Limited (NML), the sole distributor of TATA Motors LTD. He was the Executive Director and Head of Marketing of the NML vehicles and directly involved in the sales and promotion of products for 21 years.
Mr. Hoque is also the Founder Chairman of Nitol Insurance Company Limited (NICL), a Non-life Public Limited Insurance Company, established in 1999. Now he is acting as a Chairman of this Company.
Mr. Hoque loves exploring new countries and has been travelling many countries all over the world. Apart from that, Mr. Hoque enjoys playing Golf and Snooker regularly. He loves to watch various sports such as Football, Tennis, Formula 1 and so on; Cricket is his favorite sport.
Mr. Hoque is an active and social person. He is member of various notable associations and clubs in the country. He is an active member of Dhaka Club Limited, Gulshan Club Limited, Uttara Club Limited, Narayanganj Club Limited, Kurmitola Golf Club, Savar Golf Club, Narayanganj Rifle Club, Gulshan Shooting Club, Baridhara Society, Baridhara Cosmopolitan Club Limited, Fu-Wang Bowling Club, Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited and Dhaka Boat Club Limited.
